For more than two decades, A-Trak has been one of the most reputable names in dance music, pioneering the way for every turntablist, DJ, and producer who’s succeeded him. With all of his remixes and original tracks topping the charts year after year, sometimes it seems like he can do no wrong, and his most recent remix for WEISS and Harry Romero‘s “Where Do We Go?” only further supports this theory.On October 10, A-Trak took to social media to detail his ambition for the remix. Although the original is “big and muscular and chunky,” A-Trak said in an Instagram video, the goal of his remix was to downsize the sound, making it “more restricted and smaller” while adding a touch of bounciness and more room to dance.
