After a banner 2021 that saw the release of his debut album To The Endless Searing Skies and Home No Longer EP, Dancing Astronaut‘s defending label of the year, Xavi is officially back on the grid as part of Lost In Dreams’ third Gateway compilation.The Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2021 found the perfect home for his music in none other than the newly established, Insomniac Events-backed imprint, being featured alongside fellow up-and-comers like Fransis Derelle, GUERRO, Josh Rubin, VARI, sh4dows, Digital Skies, SØPHI, AVELLO, and JAMES. And “Justwanna” marks Xavi’s first original since his appearance on Ophelia Records’ fourth Advent compilation from February, coming as an amalgamation of evocative synth work, distorted vocal production, and explosive yet layered melodies. Fans had remained patient over the past few months following Xavi’s pair of remixes for Trivecta and Kill The Noise, and thankfully the wait is now over. His second original of 2022 is everything listeners have been holding out for and more.
