Idris Elba is circling the electronic release ring for the third time in 2020 with his latest original production, “One Fine Day.” Produced alongside The Knocks, the spirited, piano-driven single features vocals from south London artist, Tiggs Da Author.
The twofer, which features the original edit and an IE edit, is out now Elba’s very own imprint, 7 Wallace, with royalties to go to Black Cultural Archives, a national heritage center dedicated to collecting, preserving, and celebrating the histories of African and Caribbean people in Britain. “One Fine Day” follows Elba’s Shadow Boxx feature, “Girl With The Bat” and “Know Yourself” with Jay Robinson.
