In 2003, two talented individuals from Sydney embarked on a musical journey, collaborating in their inner-city studio to create captivating beats. They began by sharing their music in small clubs, combining their original tracks with inspiring tunes of the time.
Fast forward 20 years, and The Presets have evolved into a sensational audio-visual force, dominating festival stages worldwide. However, a recent visit to a legendary Sydney nightclub, where their musical career took flight, sparked a desire to celebrate their anniversary by revisiting their roots.
With great excitement, The Presets unveil a series of 20 DJ sets across Australia, set to take place in intimate clubs and bars. This endeavor allows them to reconnect with the electrifying spirit that ignited their passion for music.
Kim Moyes shares, “Throughout the past two decades, we have been fortunate enough to grace the grandest stages and prestigious festivals worldwide. Yet, nothing compares to the raw energy and intensity of an intimate gathering. These 20 nights will be an entirely different experience, and we cannot wait to unleash our music in this setting.”
Julian adds, “DJing in small clubs offers a unique experience compared to our usual live performances on grand stages, complete with lights and visuals. It’s a more spontaneous and immediate connection, fueled by the crowd’s energy. We will blend our own tracks with timeless jams from our favorite artists, creating a celebration of our music and the incredible tunes that inspire us. Moreover, we are thrilled to surprise our audience with a few exclusive unreleased tracks.”
