The diverse, multi-genre appeal of STAR SEED has been well documented. Be it melodic bass tracks like their most recent original “In Too Deep” or the hyper-pop sounds shown on “Innocent” with Cafe Disko, the wide-ranging nature of each of the duo’s releases have kept kept listeners on their toes. And that’s exactly what they’re receiving once more, with the Dancing Astronaut Artists to Watch in 2022 linking with KnownAsNat—whose name may seem familiar from Nurko‘s debut EP Arrival—for “Sky.”Hosted by the MrSuicideSheep imprint found/red, STAR SEED’s foray into melodic house doubles as both their eighth original release of 2022 and ninth release overall this year, including an official remix for The Chainsmokers‘ “High“. Their release on found/red is a homecoming of sorts considering their first-ever release “Escape” with longtime collaborator Meggie York back in September of 2020 was also through the label and still holds up as their strongest release to date in terms of streaming performance.
