Just a week after dropping his sophomore studio album, BUBBA, Kaytranada has released the music video accompaniment for “Puff Lah.” The sixth track on the LP, “Puff Lah” is one of the four purely instrumental songs on BUBBA‘s track list as well as the second shortest track. The highly anticipated 99.9% follow-up album notably sports a hefty portfolio of features including Pharrell Williams, Kali Uchis, Mick Jenkins, Tinashe, Estelle, Charlotte Day Wilson, Masego, GoldLink, SiR, and more.
“Puff Lah” sports funk-tinged productions and thick bass with an all-so-familiar laidback feel that Kaytranada has been notorious for executing. The conceptually minimalistic visual for “Puff Lah” sees him standing and grooving out in an empty parking garage space. Shot in analog style and color-graded in green hues, the video silhouettes the Montréal producer with the camera occasionally spinning.
