ISOxo announces debut festival set, releases sought-after ‘Halloween X’ ID, ‘REDloop’

The name ISOxo has been just about everywhere lately, starting with the announcement that the San Diego producer would return to Sable Valley with his first release since Nightrealm sent shock waves through the scene in September of 2021. This homecoming will be realized through “REDloop,” a record that reaffirms ISOxo’s trap supremacy. And it’s been a long time coming. The track has been played out since at least the time of Flosstradamus‘ set at Nocturnal Wonderland 2021, and RL Grime notably dropped it during his “Halloween X” set at the Hollywood Palladium. “REDloop” features festival-ready trap beats sure to echo throughout festival grounds this summer. However, the biggest surprise of the lusted-after ID is that its second drop features elements of techno sandwiched between his characteristically trap-heavy drops. The new single also seamlessly loops at the end, recalling the track’s title in this action. But ISOxo’s first release of the year wasn’t the only news-worthy development for the San Diego Waterboy, who recently announced that he will soon perform his debut festival set at HARD Summer 2022. ISOxo just wrapped up his first-ever headlining tour, a four-date affair put on by Brownies & Lemonade that included stops in the Bay Area, Brooklyn, Dallas, and Denver. He continues to pioneer a refreshing path forward in the trap genre, of which “REDloop” is just one step. Stream ISOxo’s latest below:Featured image: Jack HenryTags: , , ,
