Flume’s first wave of ‘Palaces’ remixes has arrived—stream reworks from Mount Kimbie, Logic1000, and more

Nearly two months after the release of Flume’s third studio album, Mount Kimbie, Logic1000, Prospa, and Otik are re-envisioning four Palaces tracklistings on the first official collection of remixes. The re-imaginative initiative commences with the UK’s Mount Kimbie, who furnishes his first remix in eight years (“Palaces”). Meanwhile, Prospa ups the tempo on “Highest Building,” Logic1000 fashions a slow-burning number on “Hollow,” and Otik closes out the pack with a drum ‘n’ bass take on “Go.” The eclectic assortment of spins arrives amidst Flume’s world tour. Featuring recently added dates in Brooklyn and Boston, not to mention festival slots at Austin City Limits and Portola, with support from Prospa, Floating Points, Channel Tres, and Tinashe, among others, the effort has already emerged as one of the live events circuit’s most in-demand members in recent months. Tickets to Flume’s world tour are currently available for purchase here.Featured image: Flume/InstagramTags: , , ,
