Orange County-native DEVAULT has been hard at work evolving his sound from remixing high-profile artists like Rihanna, DJ Snake, and RL Grime to crafting his own series of EPs. While his debut project Stay experimented in more polished and commercial soundscapes, the producer launched his gem-inspired string of EPs with JADE, which introduced fans to a darker, rawer direction for DEVAULT’s sound.
Following JADE, DEVAULT released Sapphire in 2019, which continued to build upon his newly defined sound. For the third EP installment, he launches Ruby with his most noteworthy collaboration to date alongside Italian veteran The Bloody Beetroots for “Hold On.” Accompanied by a gritty, Fight Club-inspired music video, “Hold On” delivers an industrial, dynamic listening experience that showcases yet another progression in the burgeoning producer’s sound as he melds his maturing sonic palate with The Bloody Beetroots’ unmistakable sonic touch.
