Colorize unveils sprawling sophomore compilation series, ‘Colorscapes Vol. Two’

Enhanced Music sub-label Colorize has returned with the second edition of its compilation series, Colorscapes. Distinguished by three parts, the extensive project features a sprawling expanse of 40 unreleased tracks from Estiva, Murtagh, OCULA, Avoure, and countless more. Journeying through a galvanizing spectrum of house cuts, the album taps returnees Matt Fax and Dezza and new recruit PRAANA for mixing duties, delivering fresh modernity in the progressive and melodic space. Colorscapes Vol. Two both seamlessly and easily transitions from track-to-track, disc-by-disc, immersing listeners into a world of tranquil, poignant, and inspirational auditory surroundings. Balancing seraphic harmonies with lush, nature-derived soundscapes, the compilation presents a handpicked selection primed with attentive layer building. PRAANA masterfully introduces the first leg with spoken lines from spiritualist Ram Dass, setting meditative intentions as songs flow from the serene to the full-bodied. The series proceeds to instill momentum and intensity as it advances; Dezza curates adrenaline with heavier picks and Fax capitalizes on cinematic expressions with ever-progressive cuts that draw multi-genre influences. Offering grounded escapism, Colorscapes Vol. Two fosters the essence of soul in its holistic representation of the most uplifting corners of house. Tags: , , , , , , , , , , ,
