Anjunabeats doesn’t blow out the candles to celebrate a birthday, it releases a 34-track compilation album jam-packed with exclusive, unheard selections from Above & Beyond and fellow Anjunabeats family members including Le Youth, Andrew Bayer, Gabriel & Dresden, Mat Zo, and Tinlicker. The commemorative Anjunabeats Volume 15 festivities span two-discs, the first of which provides a deep, progressive dive into Anjunadeep. Anjunabeats’ time-honored trance sound commands the second disc, which is home to six Above & Beyond contributions, including three new club instrumentals.
Anjunabeats Volume 15 extends the tradition of Above & Beyond passing the mix baton. The latest volume has been mixed by Tony McGuinness, who pared a total of 50 Anjunabeats Volume 15 candidates down to a nifty 34 cuts. Anjunabeats Volume 15 is the grand finale to Above & Beyond’s opener, “Jam.”
