Apashe’s debut LP undergoes a remix ‘Renaissance’ across 28 alternative takes

Apashe shattered glass ceilings by merging a live orchestra with his classic hip-hop/trap identity on his 2020 debut album, Renaissance. After amassing a record-breaking 40 million streams for the independent label release, the Brussels-born purveyor is back with a monumental 28-track remix album. The latest release includes reworks from the likes of Vanic, TYNAN, Matroda, and many more. Apashe also outsourced material from smaller artists all over the world, hosting a remix competition in 2020 for his Russian anthem, “Uebok Gotta Run,” and eventually choosing YMIR’s rendition for inclusion on the remix album. Providing fans with heavy bass and blaring production from names like Riot Ten, and KAI WACHI, the remix album also features deep cuts such as Qrion—one of Dancing Astronaut‘s Artists to Watch in 2021—and KROY’s take on the airy and intricate final track of the album,”Rain.” Following the success of Renaissance, Apashe is said to produce his first drum ‘n’ bass track in 2021, and it’s abundantly clear that the innovator is not slowing down anytime soon.
