The time leading up to the arrival of Anjunabeats Volume 15, mixed by Above & Beyond, has been punctuated by new material from the three-piece electronic outfit. After granting their sought-after ID, “Reverie,” a formal release in June, the trance team has returned to the release ring with another one-off in hand, “Jam.”
Dressed in the emotive melodies customary to Above & Beyond’s sound, “Jam” is a satiating prelude to the flush of fresh music that will debut under the Anjunabeats Volume 15 titular umbrella. The 34-track collection commemorates the 20th anniversary of Anjunabeats with exclusive and unheard selections from not only Above & Beyond but also the broader Anjunabeats family. Anjunabeats Volume 15 lands on July 31.
