beyerdynamic returns to the DJ category with the DJ 300 PRO X and DJ 300 PRO X CLUB. These are the company’s first DJ headphones in more than ten years. Each model uses a modular 2-in-1 pad system that swaps between on-ear and over-ear in seconds. The headphones appear this week at Amsterdam Dance Event. U.S. availability is planned for Q4 2025 at $279.99. They are on sale now in Europe for €199 including VAT at the beyerdynamic e-shop.
Two models, one platform
Both versions share the same core design and performance. DJ 300 PRO X presents a clean look for users who prefer minimal styling. DJ 300 PRO X CLUB adds a silver fork and orange CLUB lettering for a more assertive visual. Buyers can personalize ear cup artwork through beyerdynamic’s online configurator.
Fast swap between on-ear and over-ear
The interchangeable pad system changes the fit without tools. On-ear pads reduce bulk for travel and quick cueing. Over-ear pads increase isolation for loud booths and long sets. Users can switch based on task and environment rather than carrying two pairs.
Focus on sound and reliability

A 45 mm driver provides high output with controlled low end and clear highs at performance levels. A detachable cable locks into either ear cup using a bayonet mount that resists accidental pullout and reduces handling noise. The right-angle plug helps relieve strain at the mixer or audio interface. The headband, pads, and cable are replaceable. The foldable hinge reduces size for transport, and a carry pouch is included.
Launch timing and where to try them
The DJ 300 PRO X and DJ 300 PRO X CLUB make a public appearance at ADE from October 22 to 26 in the ADE Lab Village at Westerpark, where the Gear Test Lab is located. U.S. launch is scheduled for Q4 2025 at $279.99 through the beyerdynamic e-shop and Amazon. Sales in Europe begin today at €199 including VAT through the beyerdynamic e-shop.
