Bleu Clair welcomes a ‘New Age of House’ on latest five-part EP

Many would wholeheartedly agree that 2022 has felt like a long overdue renaissance within dance music. And a main component of that can be credited to the refreshing downpour of house music from too many artists to list out. But one of those names we can specifically point towards is one of Dancing Astronaut‘s Artists to Watch in 2021 Bleu Clair, who’s been a vocal proponent of there being a “new age of house music” dating back to his initiation into our aforementioned class last year. Almost two years later and Bleu Clair has officially turned that tagline into a complete EP ahead of his EDC Orlando appearance, following up his Prelude EP with a fittingly named self-release, New Age of House.Prelude‘s title was clearly taken to heart considering it would be a literal foreshadow to what Bleu Clair would present just under a year into the future. Unbeknownst to listeners, New Age of House‘s five-sided tracklist began in mid-July with “Aura” with Jargen, followed by “Sand Dunes,” and then a “Beat Like This” reunion alongside Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2022 OOTORO, “Killer Bee” with Chyra. And the EP still digs even deeper into Bleu Clair’s ID bag come release day, with “Peanut Butter” with Dances with White Girls as well as Love Capsule 2022 with Kara Chenoa—a four-year reengineering of their 2018 original—that each further the sharp, grooving tech-house approach that rationalizes the genre resurgence that Bleu Clair has continually championed. Developed in the midst of his return to North America this past summer and turned into a full-fledged EP following consistently positive audience feedback, New Age of House can be streamed in its entirety below.Featured image: Greg TorresCategories:
