Sebastian Ingrosso surprise releases back-to-back reworks for Diplo, The Weeknd

Sebastian Ingrosso felt a wave of inspiration while enjoying himself the White Isle. A few weeks before Swedish House Mafia returned to Ushuaïa Ibiza—their first official solo show since the reunion tour in 2019—Ingrosso found himself putting together a rework alongside Desembra—whose name is found all throughout the Paradise Again production credits—while on a boat. And after he shared a preview of said remix on his Instagram story, members of the trio’s discord were quickly able to figure out that it was for Diplo, TSHA and Kareen Lomax‘s “Let You Go.”And as a perfect celebration to both a historic night at Ushuaïa and the countdown to the Paradise Again tour reaching the one-week mark, Ingrosso and Desembra have reunited—sans Axwell or Steve Angello—to deliver that spin on the Diplo album cut. Ingrosso had prefaced their “Let You Go” rework—which is his first release not with Swedish House Mafia or Axwell since 2017’s “Ride It”—by saying it would be an emotional ride, with the two following through on that by implanting the original with the ultimate White Isle reimagination. And if one Ingrosso rework wasn’t enough, Swedish House Mafia’s Discord members were surprised when they saw a second one on July 22, with him reuniting with Salvatore Ganacci for a take on The Weeknd’s “How I Make You Love Me,” which the trio originally co-produced. Stream both remixes below and check back on July 29 when Swedish House Mafia deliver “Turn On The Lights Again..” with Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2022 Fred again.. and Future.
