French hitmaker Kungs has unveiled his sophomore album Club Azur. An eleven-track release, that taps into the vibrant, sun-kissed dance sound that he helped define in recent years. An artist who continues to grow with every release, Club Azur is an irresistibly feel good record and his most complete body of work to date. The LP continues where his singles have left off. Club Azur is more of his trademark brand of infectious modern take on Italo disco. A handful of album track’s – “Never Coming Home” among them — have already left their mark with more than 371 million combined streams, but it’s the fresh pressings that are some of the album’s best. The brand new cuts come along with their share of crispy collabs, including Boys Noize on the Italo sleaze grind of “Fashion” and New York’s The Knocks on the album standout — “People.” “Quanto Tempo” features newcomer Victor Flash and his seductive synthwork, while the Miami duo Good Times Ahead bless the LP with melodic electronica on “Without You.” The effort wraps up with an ode to Kungs’ current home – “Paris” ends on a punchy and poignant note that rounds out a clear blue second effort from the smooth operating producer.Tags: kungs
