It’s going to take a lot for NUZB to somehow topple a banner year on STMPD RCRDS that saw him unfailingly perfect his own genre of RetroFuture, but he’s furthering that campaign in 2022. After opening his release calendar on Future House Music, NUZB has made his way back to Martin Garrix’s label—where he racked up more than 10 originals in 2021—to drop off “Shake It.”For his return to STMPD RCRDS, the Brazilian phenom set out to capture a different type of sound, one that reflects back to the music he would play out live during pre-pandemic times. “Shake It” gives RetroFuture a tech-house edge, resulting in one of NUZB’s “most clubbier tracks so far” that not only succeeds in evolving his production scope, but also in supplying a dancefloor-ready weapon as we inch closer towards festival season and his Tomorrowland debut this July.
