Zeds Dead share eclectic deluxe version of ‘We Are Deadbeats (Vol. 4)’

Dylan (DC) Mamid and Zachary (Hooks) Rapp-Rovan of Toronto-based bass duo, Zeds Dead, are master collaborators. Not only do the two producers effortlessly share the decks with one another, but they are also able to seamlessly weave their signature drum ‘n’ bass-influenced sound with the sonic trademarks of other artists. 2020 has already seen a profusion of collaborative releases from the duo, including a bass-heavy, hip-hop flip of Atmosphere‘s “GodLovesUgly” with Subtronics and an eerie new track with REZZ, “Into the Abyss.” To top it off, Hooks and DC—lovingly known by fans as “the boys”—released the much-anticipated We Are Deadbeats (Vol. 4).

Now, they are back with We Are Deadbeats (Vol. 4/Deluxe). The extended LP features three new collaborations, in addition to 12 remixes of tracks from the original album. Highlights include a new collaboration with YOOKiE, “RUFF,” as well as EPROM‘s old-school deconstruction of Zeds Dead and Deathpact‘s “Ether.”
