One of Dancing Astronaut‘s Artists to Watch in 2021, Truth x Lies are catapulting to Noizu‘s Techne imprint to “Preach” from a tech house pulpit. The bassline-led single, accented by a looping vocal sample, translates the two-man outfit’s astute approach to the underground from 2020 to 2021, formalizing their first one-off of the new year. A welcome back is certainly in order for the duo that has steadily risen up the ranks since taking the title of Insomniac‘s Discovery Project in 2017. After keeping the 2020 sonic presses hot with releases sprinkled across Insomniac Records, CID‘s Night Service Only, Space Yacht, IN / ROTATION, and SANS MERCI, among other imprints, one can only imagine what the tech house tacklers’ shared pipeline must be brimming with, and to assume that it’s already packed with some serious soon-to-be-heard horsepower is by no means a stretch of the imagination.
