The Radar 139: Mixed by offrami

LA-based DJ-producer offrami wears all the musical hats and exploded into the realm of dance music in 2015 with a remix of ARIZONA‘s masterpiece, “I Was Wrong.” Raised in Lebanon, the multi-talented musician has racked up more than 100 million global streams to date via originals and official reworks for the likes of Nick Jonas, Bishop Briggs, and more. His latest single, “Drunk Calling,” is an energy-fueled collaboration with singer-songwriter Mougleta that features pounding percussion and deep synths layered under catchy vocals from the Canadian lyricist. “I just wanted to create a dance track that felt good,” offrami said of the track. “In these weird times, music at least to me has been my escape…” Released via the Robin Schulz-led imprint Metalo Music, the new track can be heard on offrami’s latest contribution to Dancing Astronaut‘s RADAR mix series. Packed with 40 minutes of dance-worthy beats, the mix will open listeners up to a world of discovery with obscure crate-diggers like Luuk Van Dijk’s house rendition of “Da Revolution,” Ashibah’s “Devotion,” and more. offrami also evens the playing field by including established crowd pleasers such as Diplo and Sonny Fodera‘s “Turn Back Time” and Shermanology‘s “Bon Bini,” among others.
