Stream Tame Impala’s lucid new LP, ‘The Slow Rush’ – Dancing Astronaut

The wait is over; another Tame Impala album is finally here. After a handful of stylistically divergent singles and a music video for “Lost in Yesterday,” The Slow Rush has arrived in all its lysergic pop glory.

The Slow Rush is Tame Impala’s first LP since his nearly unanimously critically acclaimed 2015 release, Currents. The latest album largely stays true to the indie/psychedelic sound that helped Tame Impala gather wall-to-wall commercial success over the past decade. Though the present work delves deeper into more digestible flavors suited for the masses.

Kevin Parker, Tame Impala frontman and sole sonic creator, announced he and his live group would embark on a string of Australian shows to support bushfire relief efforts. A tour through the US and Mexico is imminent for the band as well. Stream The Slow Rush below.
