Sofi Tukker are entering 2022 with a freshly announced album release date, an international tour run, and a sultry new single with an accompanying music video. Dispatched via Ultra Records, “Original Sin” marks the lead-off track from the multi-lingual duo’s forthcoming sophomore LP, WET TENNIS, due April 29. In an official album trailer, Sofi Tukker teased the LP’s title track and delineated the meaning behind the impending project’s equivocal name. The “Drinkee” DJs explained, “WET TENNIS is an acronym for: When Everyone Tries to Evolve, Nothing Negative Is Safe.” Deemed “the Garden of Eden of the WET TENNIS world,” Sofi Tukker premiered the official music video for “Original Sin” on February 4. Directed by Aerin Moreno, the neon-heavy visual offering showcases both Sophie and Tucker donning fluorescent tennis apparel, immersed in lush nature elements while taking turns as the track’s lead vocalist. In addition to the new audio-visual offering, Sofi Tukker have cemented “WET TENNIS” tour runs in North America and Australia. The genre-defying duo is also billed to perform at an array of international music festivals, beginning with a headline appearance at San Diego’s CRSSD Festival on March 5.
