Masked producer Slow Magic is clearly sitting on an arsenal of tunes, announcing his upcoming LP, it’s the end of the world, but it’s ok, as his second project of 2020. Arriving on the heels of his acclaimed EP, Closer 2 U, which featured fan favorite collaborators such as Manila Killa, Shallou, and Woven In Hiatus, among others, Magic enlisted Brooklyn-based dream-pop duo Paperwhite for it’s the end of the world, but it’s ok‘s lead single, “Carry On.”Released via Moving Castle, the arrangement comprises upbeat, steady leads on the verses backed by catchy vocals from Katie (of Paperwhite) and subtle guitar riffs that reflect diverse instrumentation. The lyrical melodies delve into euphoric synths and pounding bass at the break, pulling together an instant dance floor hit.
