Saint Velez writes ‘Warehouse Poetry’ through awaited freshman album

New York has been the breeding grounds for some of dance music’s finest, and Saint Velez is another name that’s quickly climbing the ranks. Just over four years after making his musical debut, the Brooklyn-bred talent has now secured his debut album, taking to De-Konstrukt Records for the delivery of Warehouse Poetry.Warehouse Poetry is exactly what its name suggests, originating from a bout of internal struggles that Saint Velez converted into an LP that guides an adventure from dusk until dawn. Through 10 diverse, driving slices of techno, Warehouse Poetry—lightly based on Liam Neeson’s The Gray character, who cherishes a poem written by his wife that passed away in both the movie and real life—adds to Saint Velez’s budding sonic story as he helps lead techno into the next generation.Stream Saint Velez’s freshman LP in its entirety below.Featured image: Roger TamTags: ,
