RANE ONE MKII Drops Ahead Of Club Season Peak

Late summer is always the turning point for nightlife. Festivals are still in full swing, club residencies are heating up, and DJs are starting to think about how to carry that energy into the busier fall season. It’s the perfect moment for RANE® to launch the ONE MKII—a next-generation motorized DJ controller designed to turn every set into a live remix session.

Building on the original model released in 2021, the RANE ONETM MKII pairs vinyl-style motorized platters with modern Stems control and internal FX. The result is a controller that feels authentic in your hands but gives you the flexibility to reshape tracks in real time. It’s built for DJs who want their sets to feel as alive and reactive as the crowds they’re playing to.

Motorized Control Meets Stems Workflow

The ONE MKII places Stems front and center.

Dedicated Acapella and Instrumental buttons let DJs strip down tracks instantly, making it possible to drop a vocal over a new groove or build transitions out of isolated instrumentals. For anyone working with open-format playlists or quickfire club edits, this workflow keeps sets unpredictable and fluid.

The motorized platters deliver the tactile response DJs expect from turntables, with adjustable torque for different playing styles. Paired with the MagFour crossfader and adjustable line faders, the feel stays tight whether you’re scratching, blending, or building extended routines.

A new suite of 29 hardware-based effects sits directly on the controller, keeping the laptop secondary. Everything from subtle reverb to dramatic filter sweeps can be deployed without breaking flow, while the onboard display makes it easy to track effects and Stems changes in real time.

Built For Real Crowds

Audio quality and durability are core to the ONE MKII. Studio-grade converters, 24-bit processing, and comprehensive I/O mean it can lock into any sound system. Two XLR mic inputs keep MCs or hosts connected, while multiple outputs cover booth and main systems. DJs can also integrate external players through switchable phono/line inputs, giving the controller the flexibility to anchor a full setup.

The design also considers live logistics. Dual USB ports make changeovers seamless, a must for stacked club nights or festival slots. The new white finish improves visibility in darker environments, something DJs will appreciate as sets run late into the night.

The MKII debuted alongside a performance from world champion turntablist DJ K-Swizz, who highlighted how the stems workflow and motorized platters open creative doors mid-set. Other DJs, like Diamond Kuts—official DJ for the Philadelphia Eagles—are already praising the balance of reliability and modern control.

Available now for $1,499 USD, the RANE ONE MKII lands just as DJs are preparing for the busiest months of the year. With late summer energy rolling into the fall club calendar, this release feels like the right tool at the right time.
