In preparation for one of Southern California’s most-celebrated festivals, Elohim has curated a collection of tunes for HARD Summer Music Festival’s “HARDFest Selects” series. Her 28-track playlist offers a myriad of rhythmic textures, hinging firmly on funky and upbeat expressions from the likes of Elohim herself, Snakehips, Jayda G, Duke Dumont, as well as the late SOPHIE. Each playlist inclusion carries an understated yet atomic energy, preparing HARD Summer attendees for a set that is sure to incite head bobbing and hip moving. Deeming Elohim’s time on stage as merely a “set” would do the creative a disservice, considering that the singer-songwriter/producer conducts more of what one might call a metaphysical experience—and a powerful one at that. Through Elohim’s HARDFest Selects installments, listeners get as close to this experience as they can in the comfort of their own homes, with less than two weeks until HARD Summer showtime. The West Coast affair will take place from July 31 through August 1 at San Bernardino’s NOS Events Center. Tickets to the sizzling event are available here. Until then, Elohim’s quirky yet undeniably cutting “HARDFest Selects” takeover is available for fans’ listening pleasure below.Tags: Elohim, Hard Summer, HARDfest, NOS Events Center, premiere
