Moog Music‘s technical tool kit now includes the Subharmonicon, a semi-modular analog polyrhythmic synthesizer with a six-tone sound engine and multi-layered clock generator. Developed to afford producers the ability to “explore the world of subharmonics, polyrhythms, and the unique relationships they create,” the Subharmonicon is now available worldwide after a prototype was debuted during Moogfest 2018.
The Subharmonicon, which retails for $699, is accompanied by Music as Living Matter, a visual scored entirely with the polyrhythmic synthesizer and composed by electronic veteran, Suzanne Ciani.
