The latest example comes in the form of “When I Had You,” MAVV’s 12th all-time release, issued via Blanco Y Negro’s Spitfire Music.Music for melodic indulgement, “When I Had You” features Rory Hope, whom the Texan worked alongside to cultivate a specific sonic aim in the single’s three-minute and four-second span.
