Kid Cudi and Eminem have joined forces. The two rap icons come together for the former’s latest single “The Adventures of Moon Man and Slim Shady,” which dropped digitally Thursday at midnight. The release does what many collaborations or features cannot, pulling off a true artistic amalgamation of the two styles while concocting something fresh along the way.
‘The single’s highly stylized video depicts the rappers as comic style superheroes (Moon Man and Slim Shady), taking on everything from substance abuse and religion, to current events like COVID.
Bunch of half-wits up in office (What?)
Half of us walking around like a zombie apocalypse
Other half are just pissed off and (Yeah)
Don’t wanna wear a mask and they’re just scoffing

The release continues Kid Cudi’s 2020 hot streak, including the recent announcement of his animated series alongside Kanye West, and “The Scotts,” his aptly named single with Travis Scott.
This January, Eminem released his 11th studio album, Music to be Murdered By, but has since divvied his time between the studio and helping those in need.
