Kevin Parker shares retro visual for Tame Impala’s ‘Is It True’

Since the highly-anticipated release of Tame Impala‘s fourth studio album The Slow Rush, Kevin Parker has continued to output adjacent material for the record; his latest takes viewers on a psychedelic episode in the new visual for, “Is It True.” Marking the second track from The Slow Rush to receive a video treatment, with the first being “Lost in Yesterday,” “Is It True” was unveiled as the last of six singles from the Valentine’s Day-released LP.

The music video follows Parker as he sings and grooves out to the song, his image laced with trippy effects, all while imposed onto an old television set. Immersing in retro VHS aesthetics, the visual indulges in glitched-out, mind-warping metamorphosis, as the caption notably cautions, “WARNING: CONTAINS FLASHING IMAGES.”

Parker previously performed a live rendition of “Is It True” on Stephen Colbert’s Late Show. Watch the official video for “Is It True” below.
