In continuation of his “tronce” movement, Ilan Bluestone has returned to Anjunabeats with another vocal-powered weapon. Enlisting collaborator Gid Sedgwick, the UK producer unveils the latest heavy-hitting track from his arsenal, “Paid For Love.” Making its first appearance during Above & Beyond‘s milestone Group Therapy 400 live stream in September, the melodic number sees Bluestone journey back to the anthemic roots that raised him. Characterized by thundering kicks and static-inducing bass, “Paid For Love” traverses contrasting elements of industrial sonics and heartfelt thematics. Sedgwick, previously featured on Bluestone-Maor Levi crossover staple “Can You,” takes a sophisticated vocal approach as he employs Depeche Mode influences in his performance. Marking the first track where Bluestone saw involvement in the lyrical output, “Paid For Love” also held personal meaning for Anjuna mainstay, who stated, Tags: Anjunabeats, Gid Sedgwick, Ilan Bluestone, Paid For Love, Trance, Tronce
