Inspired to bring joy into the atmosphere following years of cancelled events, Hayden James has released his latest album, LIFTED via Future Classic.Meant to infuse a sense of celebration, the LP hinges on the euphoric feeling of reunion after a time apart. With nine tracks of pure energetic bliss, James is joined by many of his friends, some of which include Cassian, Elderbrook, Xavier Dunn, and fan-favorites SIDEPIECE, to name a few. From pulsating, high-octane outfits like “Waiting For Nothing” featuring Yaeger to melodic 90s throwback entities such as the titular “Lifted” with Tudor, the album upholds James’ enduring production capabilities, signature vocals textures, and an impressive all-encompassing ambiance. Commenting on his recent output, James states,“I began working on the album late 2020 and used all the time off I had from touring to make something special because I knew the return to live music would be epic, a major vibe. The result is a huge emotional, energetic dance record, with elements of piano-house, melodic house and a positive tone and feel that can be found across all tracks.”James is slated to tour North America beginning with his two-weekend stint at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
