Habstrakt has returned to HARD Recs with his first original release of the year, “High.” Featuring old-school vocals and his signature edge, the track manages to be both reminiscent of earlier years in underground house clubs and more modern festival dance floors. Balancing the track’s darker tones together with the sample’s enthusiastic sound, “High” arrives as another Habstrakt classic.“High” follows his remix of Tchami and Stacy Barthe‘s “Afterlife,” as part of the Confession X Night Bass: The Album label compilation. Habstrakt had also teamed up with Tchami in October 2021 for “Eternity.” Last year also saw Habstrakt release several remixes, including his twists on DJ Snake and Malaa’s “Ring The Alarm” and MUST DIE!, Akeos, and Skream‘s “LOL OK.” Last June, the French mastermind saw his debut release on Deadbeats with “The Sound.” Featured image: Nate VogelTags: Habstrakt, HARD Recs
