Skrillex and Four Tet, two of electronic music’s most exciting and eclectic producers, have taken the stage together multiple times. However, none of their performances have ever been recorded—until now. In 2019, the two worked through an hour of rich electronic cuts at Manchester’s The Warehouse Project, and the set can now be streamed in its entirety on YouTube. Four Tet, one of the remixers previously entrusted with re-imaginative duties for for Skrillex, Boys Noize, and Ty Dolla $ign‘s “Midnight Hour,” is regarded for his meticulous, downtempo IDM sound, and as is audible in this back-to-back, partnering with Skrillex makes for a rare listening experience.
