Fred again.. teams with Four Tet on hypnotic new club cut, ‘Jungle’

Finally debuting his latest “Jungle,” after persistently teasing the track at festivals and on social media, Fred Gibson, or Fred again.., has proven once more that his wide-spanning production expertise lies perfectly on pulse with some of the electronic music’s most revered. Case in point, the Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2022 has come together with Kieran Hebden, better known as Four Tet, to craft a track overflowing with a palpable energy, making for an up-tempo voyage on which the pair explore boundless sonic territory. “Jungle” follows a streak of collaborations this year for Gibson, some of which include “Lights Out” with The xx‘s Romy Croft and HAAi, and Admit It (U Don’t Want 2) featuring I. Jordan, both mainstays in Gibson’s unparalleled live set. Capturing moments from his Actual Life album series, Fred again.. takes his audiences through an imaginative experience, enrapturing a vast range of emotion for electrified fans. Touring for the first time ever last year, Gibson has made his rounds to some of the biggest festivals in the world, and the end is nowhere in sight. Fresh off the heels of playing Michigan’s Electric Forest, Gibson is heading back across the pond for a grip of European dates before heading back to the States for a run of his Actual Life 2 tour, which includes three nights at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Forever Cemetery and three nights at New York City’s Terminal 5 in the fall.
