Fresh off their closing performance at the Ophelia Records Showcase in Miami, psytrance duo Dimibo is back on the label, this time appearing alongside label newcomer Quackson for “Turning Test.” The track features four unique psytrance drops, BPM switches, and cybernetic sound design. Dimibo have been frequent contributors to Ophelia Records since its inception; however, “Pantheon” credits their contribution to their Dimibo alias. Over the years, they’ve frequently found ways to reinvent themselves, bringing a fresh new sound to the table through experimental aliases like their new drum n’ bass project Lydian, which released “Die For” on Ophelia’s Advent III compilation. They also have a trio of releases under the name Abraxis, which was formed in 2019 and includes Dimibo and label boss Seven Lions.
