No stranger to the decentralized web, Dillon Francis has announced an Audius-exclusive debut of his new drum ‘n’ bass mix series, id{nb}gafos. The electronic mogul plans to roll out the series in an episodic fashion, with the inaugural installment featuring his widely celebrated virtual drum ‘n’ bass set that kicked off the quarantine era. In July of 2020, on the brink of statewide stay-at-home orders, Mad Decent‘s Party Favor partnered with Dancing Astronaut for the virtual music festival, “Party Favor Presents: Isolation.” The livestream enlisted not only Francis, but also A-Trak, SOFI TUKKER, and other impressive acts to boost morale in the dance music community. Francis drew an abundance of praise for his 35-minute drum ‘n’ bass set, which featured both melodic and hardstyle material. After eight months of fan requests for more long-form drum ‘n’ bass, Sir Francis has furnished a blockchain-powered response. Fans are now able to stream the entire “Isolation” set via Audius, where they can expect the rollout of the entire drum ‘n’ bass mix series to unfurl in the months to come. What’s more, Francis mentioned in a tweet that he extended the set by an additional 30 minutes, marking a strong start to id{nb}gafos.Dancing Astronaut is also on Audius; follow us on the streaming platform here.Featured image: RukesTags: a-trak, Audius, D&B, Dillon Francis, drum n bass, isolation stream, mix series, NFT, sofi tukker
