So many artists are doing their part to lift the spirits of club and festival-starved fans in any way they can—the effort from artists during these uncertain times has been heartwarming. deadmau5 makes a regular habit of streaming himself, but now he’s doing on for the fans and casual listener alike with a brand new hour-long mix for mau5trap radio.
The mix includes music from mau5trap mainstays like Jay Robinson and Julian Gray as well as newcomers like the ever-expanding Idris Elba and deadmau5’s recently rehashed co-venture with Steve Duda, BSOD. The Where’s The Drop producer also mentioned on the show that there are new BSOD tees in the mau5hop, from which a portion of the proceeds will go to the MusiCares COVID-19 relief fund.
Check out the full mix below as deadmau5 takes us through all the soundscapes one can expect from a typical mau5 set—heavy techno, grueling electro, and soaring trance. Enjoy below.
