deadmau5, Lights steer ‘When the summer dies’ to streaming platforms

In 2018, deadmau5 and Lights teamed up for the first time for “Drama Free.” The cut, featured on the Netflix film Polar, led to Lights joining deadmau5 on his 2019 and 2020 tour to provide a live performance of “Drama Free” on each tour date. Three years later, and the two can be found collaborating once again, this time for “When the summer dies.” Although “Drama Free” made use of a darker mood, “When the summer dies” channel energetic instrumentals and a pop-oriented topline. “When the summer dies” follows deadmau5’s April collaboration with REZZ, “Hypnocurrency.”Featured image: Leah SemsTags: , , ,
