Cassian is primed to ‘Reactivate’ with double-sided EP on Rose Avenue Records

Cassian had put a brief stoppage on solo originals in the wake of his debut LP Laps, delivering a joint EP with Yotto, several high-profile reworks for BRONSON, MEDUZA, and Sonny Fodera, and even playing a hand in RÜFÜS DU SOL’s contribution to Dancing Astronaut‘s top electronic albums of 2021. 2022 is now proving to be the time for Cassian to lengthen his primary discography yet again as he returns to the forenamed Aussie trio’s Rose Avenue Records for a double-sided EP, Reactivate.More than aptly titled, Reactivate marks the beginning of Cassian’s latest era and holds a pair of tracks that have been longed for throughout the previous year-plus. Reactivate was said to be a product of Cassian’s period off the road during the pandemic and in an Instagram post, he shared four different live clips that brought “the moments [he] always imagined them soundtracking” to life. Both “React” and “Activate” hold an equal degree of masterful produced, with Cassian outfitting his two-for-one EP with a club-instilled allure of melodic house that he’ll take along with him to RÜFÜS DU SOL’s destination festival in March as well as Hayden James forthcoming Lifted tour, where he’ll debut his “new live show.”Featured image: Bryan KwonTags: ,
