As the movement for social justice grows, I have seen more dissenting views about the way people take action. Critics of protests say what is the goal or there isn’t a clear message. Critics of petitions say what do they ever get accomplished. Critics of voting and the democratic process say this is too slow for the change we need. Some of these are valid concerns, but opposing ANY of these actions are anti-progress. If someone has all the answers for the most effective way change a system that has been in place for what seems to be an entire millennium please step forward and explain. Until then instead of fighting against people who want the same goals as you, amplify the means of progress you believe in most without tearing down others.
With that said, I present a few resources and petitions. We all have chosen this fight; we all must choose our weapon. This list is just scratching the surface and I welcome you all to do your own research and share with me what you find.
