2021’s summer festival season is being salvaged just in the nick of time. Event lineups are dropping left and right, with circuit hallmark HARD Summer making a mighty compelling case for the West Coast’s most colorful lineup of the season. As per annual tradition ahead of the Southern California dance event, HARD has begun trickling out the festival’s lead-up mixtape series, featuring a handful of billed wave makers from this year’s talent roster. The latest mix comes by way of Phoenix-native DJ and producer, BIJOU. The G-house aficionado ropes together nearly an hour of rump-shaking house jams, with BIJOU digging deep into his personal crates to propagate a tasty mix that’ll keep listeners feet working from front to back. BIJOU’s new mix signals just a glimpse of what fans can expect from the Diamond City producer. Furthermore, BIJOU perfectly encapsulates the HARD atmosphere during his session, surfing through a blend of different house sub-genres and hip-hop accents ahead of the festival’s July 31 – August 1 run. HARD’s 2021 lineup is topped by Baauer and RL Grime sharing the decks, a back-to-back performance from DJ Snake and Malaa, REZZ, Future, Kaytranada, Skream, Kayzo, and more. Peep BIJOU’s official HARD mixtape below.
