Roll the windows down for this charming summertime romp courtesy of Babe Club and Whimsy’s bubbly remix. Babe Club’s original version of “Need A Girl” was simple and catchy indie rock, but its Whimsy’s spin that turns it into a lush landscape of bouyant synths and stripped down electronica. The originals guitar riffs have been tossed out. Instead Whimsy replaces the analog bits with bright and airy stabs that drive the breaks. At times heavily filtered, Whimsy takes the Babe’s top line heavy original and morphs it into a dreamy dance number that sounds just like a beachside sunset feels. Tags: Babe Club, Whimsy
