The rollout for Autograf‘s forthcoming LP, The Ace Of You, is a slow burn that continues to simmer with “Undivided.” Threaded with Arabic flavor, the culturally-inflected house approach is an outlier in the context of Autograf’s larger catalog, a signal that the outfit is experimenting with new sounds rather than sticking with what’s tried-and-true. Equipped with a decisive rhythmic structure, “Undivided” is veritable dance fuel with textured, gravelly breaks to boot.In contrast with the shortage of live events throughout 2020, fresh Autograf content has been in no short supply. The The Ace Of You blueprint began with the impending project’s debut single, “Ain’t Deep Enough” in November 2019. This initial preview was succeeded by “Easy” in February.
