When asked how elements like label identity or artwork influence his relationship with a song, he emphasizes the importance of boundaries. “Labels have their own sound, through which they position themselves in the music market,” he explains. “When I produce a track and aim for a specific label, I look at their catalog mainly to check for consistency. It reassures me that there is someone equally competent on the other side listening.”
This analytical mindset extends to how he discovers new music. Whether digging through playlists or scouting new releases, he prioritizes musical timbre and structural integrity. He notes that he is constantly looking for artists who demonstrate a consistent vision, even when they experiment with blending different genres.
