Known for his effortless fusions of house, electro, and techno, Peletronic is back with another EP. The Vienna-based producer, DJ, and master mood-setter returns to Fortunea Records with his latest sonic journey: “Restless.”
Following the smoked-out haze of his “Hazy Jane” EP and the broken beat brilliance of Goldfinch on Fortunea’s 10-year anniversary compilation, Peletronic steps further into his craft, delivering a four-tracker that’s as precise as it is immersive. The title track “Restless” is exactly what it suggests: a deep house cut that pulses with low-end weight, swelling loops, and an irresistible vocal sample that pulls you into the night. This is club music for those who know the difference between a mere track and a mood.
Flip to “Timeless Travels,” where washed-out acid lines wander through energetic drum patterns, evoking movement and memory. Peletronic’s signature is all over this one, with a perfect balance of past and future, dirt and gleam. On the B-side, “Malibu Orange” captures the fragile euphoria of the late-night/early-morning timeframe, while “1160 Dub” closes the journey with a minimal but bold nod to his beloved Vienna district.
With Peletronic’s music, a deep range of musical knowledge, ranging from dusty jazz to futuristic electronica, meets the precision of a digital media technology master. His over twenty years behind the decks (since 2004) and his creative studio approach create a space where “lucky jams” bloom into sophisticated moments for any crowd.
The “Restless” EP released on May 23rd, and its vinyl release is limited to just 200 copies – no repress. If you don’t get one of the physical copies, it’ll hit digital stores and streaming on May 30th. But, we’d suggest you order a copy as soon as you can to fully experience Peletronic at the peak of his sonic form.
