The year is 2022, but legends in the dance music scene continue to make their presence known. Long-time drum n’ bass producers Chase & Status have released plenty of originals this year, but the duo’s latest project is a remix for Carl Cox. Out now via BMG, “Our Time Will Come” is a remix of an unreleased Carl Cox single. With a new album on the way, Carl Cox will unveil the original “Our Time Will Come” alongside the full release of Electronic Generations on December 2.Electronic Generations marks Carl Cox’s first original album since 2012’s All Roads Lead to the Dancefloor. The anticipation mounts with every sonic mile marker such as this. First piquing interest of a potential collaboration or remix back in June, Carl Cox and Chase & Status went back-to-back at England’s Glastonbury festival. Chase & Status’s remix of “Our Time Will Come” uses the original lyrics over a quick-hitting and up-tempo drum-focused bassline. The result is an intergalactic tear through breaks and dizzying melodies.
