Jason Ross delivers worthy update of ARTY, Mat Zo’s progressive trance classic, ‘Rebound’

We’re not even a full month into 2022 and a second release can now be crossed off our most-anticipated IDs of the year list. At the halfway point of their milestone ABGT450 set from London’s The Drumsheds, Above & Beyond acquainted the Anjunabeats family with a jaw-dropping reimagining of ARTY and Mat Zo’sRebound” from none other than Jason Ross. Now converting his Dancing Astronaut 2021 Track of the Year triumph into a clearance from that aforementioned release tracker, Jason Ross has made his return to Anjunabeats for the first time since 2020 to yield the remix that’s been on everyone’s mind since September.“Rebound” is applauded as a time-tested classic for more than a few reasons. It not only helped to define Anjunabeats as a label in 2011 and beyond, but also welcomed in a previously unfamiliar sound that would be one day be known as either progressive trance, “trance 2.0,” or trouse, depending on who you ask.
