As Wooli heads into the release of Ophelia Records’ “mega collab” on October 1, he’s dropping off an original of his own on Seven Lions‘ label for the first time since “Shadows.” Titled “Crazy,” the new Casey Cook-assisted track witnesses Wooli team up with an unexpected collaborative partner in Codeko.Presented in person during Wooli’s appearance at Nocturnal Wonderland, the production duo tap into instrumentals as the framework for an emotionally driven listening experience, topped with Cook’s angelic vocals. The track culminates in a cinematic drop, pushing forward a powerful melodic bass sound that resides fittingly on Ophelia Records. “Crazy” will be accompanied by an acoustic version performed by a 48-piece orchestra. Arranged by two conductors, the alternate rendition will surely gift a fresh spin on the original release.Featured image: Austin MonteTags: Casey Cook, codeko, Ophelia Records, wooli
